Charters – Rent the train
Businesses, neighborhood alliances, church groups and other organizations often enjoy bringing their members together for special events away from the usual meeting location. A new meeting venue can be more fun, more stimulating and free of the normal interruptions found in the regular meeting place. The Indiana Transportation Museum offers a selection of enjoyable gatherings suited for any occasion.
Charter trips can be as simple as a ride back and forth on our rail line, viewing the area from a different perspective, or more intricate as we transport you to a venue close to our rails where you can dine on a meal of your choosing. If desired, we can provide beer, wine and spirits during your journey.
During our regular season, April through October, most of our passenger train is available for your trip. Large groups travel in our 1937 vintage, stainless steel passenger coaches, while smaller groups may be better suited for one of our first class, private cars. By emailing our office at email@example.com, and speaking with our Visitor Services Manager, almost anything is possible.
Charter the Open-Air Train
Take your summer party on the rails by chartering our flatcar and caboose train. The open-air flatcar seats up to 30 at picnic tables on the deck, and each of the two cabooses seats an additional 10 people. Your group will have a reserved time of an hour and a half, including an hour train ride. Board at Forest Park in Noblesville.
For children’s birthday parties, a favor is provided to the birthday child. Bring your own snacks, cupcakes, or treats for the occasion! Reserve for reunions or other summer gatherings.
Train runs rain or shine; no refunds.
