Do your ears perk at the sound of Free?

Join us this Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Community Day at our museum in Forest Park at 825 Park Drive in Noblesville.

Enjoy FREE caboose rides, FREE admission, FREE musical entertainment and more.

Tour the renowned 1898 Florida East Coast Railroad No. 90 private railroad car, built for Standard Oil founder Henry Flagler’s wife with african blonde mahogany, Tiffany & Co. stained glass and the finest materials found worldwide as part of Noblesville Preservation Alliance‘s Historic Homes Tour. Purchase car tour tickets as part of the home tour in advance here.

Also, enjoy free music from artist John Gilmore from Noon to 1 p.m., followed by music from D.J. TY from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Visit with and support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, JDRF Indiana, as well as radio personality Terri Stacy from 93.1 WIBC-FM.

Purchase scrumptious food and snacks, such as muffins and cookies from Perkins Family Restaurant (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and pizza by the slice from Greek’s Pizzeria (Noon to 3 p.m.).

Did we say Free again? Yes, we did. Each visitor over the age of 12 will receive a raffle ticket upon entry for a free locomotive cab ride (Winner selected every half hour, subject to signed waiver and railroad regulations).

Visit with advocates from Save The Nickel Plate, learn railroad history, tour exhibits, and more. All Free!
