Departing Fishers for dinner at delicious, home-town eateries in Noblesville and Cicero

“What are we going to do Saturday night? We’re tired of the same old thing, and want to try something new and exciting together.”

family_photoDoes this sound like you? This was the case for Paul, Emily and their children, Seth and Elizabeth.

Emily decided to take the family for something new and different that Saturday evening. She reserved tickets for the Indiana Transportation Museum’s Morse Lake Dinner Train. The family boarded at Fishers, conveniently off I-69 at 116 St. The friendly staff helped them get their tickets and climb aboard.

The staff looked like they walked right off the pages of history, and the excitement had just begun.

Emily’s family climbed aboard an authentic passenger train that once raced across the plains and deserts between Chicago and Los Angeles. They watched many couples and families get off at Noblesville to enjoy all that there was to offer, including many fine restaurants, ice cream and oftentimes a classic car display on the courthouse square.

The train continued across the White River and on to Cicero, where the family got off to eat. This small town featured many delicious, hometown eateries. While many couples went to Big Dog’s Smokehouse Barbecue, Emily’s family enjoyed a delicious dinner at Pizza King, while others went to Erika’s Place.

Afterwards, Emily’s family boarded the train for a relaxing ride through the countryside back through Noblesville to Fishers. They laughed and had fun along the way; pointing out people enjoying an evening in small town America, just like has been commonplace for many years.

After arriving in Fishers, and returning to their cars, they decided on the trip home they would be back again as they could now receive half-priced tickets with their new Rail Adventure Pass.

Sound like a fantastic evening out? We think so. Reserve your seats today!
