Weekends, April thru July & in September (except when special trains are running), we run a train on our main line leaving from Hobbs Station, located at the
Museum in Forest Park,
and running either north to Atlanta, or south to
Fishers.The Weekend Express ,as
well as all our other trains, normally operates with a
locomotive on each end. This allows us to run at
track speed (up to 30 mph) in each direction. Occasionally,
only one locomotive is available to pull the
train. On those days we MUST run to Fishers where
we can move the engine from the south end of the train
to the north end to return the train to
Noblesville.
So, if you have a real need to visit
one town and not the other please call the gift shop
between 11 AM and noon at 317 776 7887 and ask for
today's destination.
