In 1983 the Indiana Transportation Museum ran its first
train to the Indiana State Fair. To celebrate the
25th anniversary of that event the Bleecker Street Eatery in Cicero, Indiana has offered to
host a fundraiser that will benefit the
Museum. The celebration is scheduled for the evening of
Sunday, June 1st. Details are still being arranged
but we know this:
-
Attendance will be limited to 75
people who will gather at Fishers Station for a
brief presentation about the goals and plans of the
Museum.
-
The attendees will then board a
train consisting of our streamlined Budd coaches for
a trip to Cicero.
-
Drinks and hors d'oeuvres may
be served on the train. (currently working on the
liquor license)
-
Passengers will walk to the Bleecker Street
Eatery for a seven-course dinner and each course
will be paired with a different wine..
-
A silent auction will begin at
Fishers Station, continue on board the train and end
at the restaurant. Auction items will be
announced here soon.
Invitations will be sent in mid-May.
Bleecker Street Eatery has been a
partner with ITM in the Hamiltonian,
the train to dinner, for the past two years and we are
pleased and thankful for this opportunity they have
presented us.
